Fiat Overview

Mon 29th Sep 2025

Fiat is a brand with decades of heritage, yet a modern outlook on motoring, which has seen it deliver some of the most characterful and interesting cars around. Here at David Hayton AutoStore, we’re proud to stock a wide range of Fiat vehicles to help fit the needs of all types of drivers.

But what is the current state of Fiat, what vehicles does it have on the horizon, and what are its current key models? Let’s take a look.

What is the Current State of Fiat?

Fiat currently stands as a key member of the wider Stellantis group, which means that Fiat has access to a great range of technologies and engines, ensuring that all of its cars have the very latest features. It also means that the group can share battery and motor technology, allowing Fiat to offer a broad range of electric vehicles that deliver a decent amount of range.

What Models Does Fiat Currently Offer?

Fiat has a wide range of vehicles to appeal to all types of drivers. Of course, its 500 model continues to be a big-hitter - despite its compact size - and you’ll find a good number of them available here at David Hayton AutoStore. Available with a new hybrid engine, the 500 focuses on an easy-going driving style with lightweight steering that helps to make it a doddle to use around town. Small dimensions and good all-round visibility help to make the 500 really easy to park, too.

Elsewhere in Fiat’s range, you’ll find a heady mix of eclectic style and top-notch equipment. One of the most recent additions to the Fiat line-up is the Grande Panda, a car which revives a name that is synonymous with this Italian brand. It’s available both in hybrid and electric specifications, too, which showcases the brand’s commitment to offering a variety of powertrain options for buyers.

Fiat Cars as a Used Purchase

But why should you consider a Fiat if you’re looking at a second-hand vehicle? Here at David Hayton AutoStore, we only offer cars after they’ve been given a thorough inspection and multi-point check, ensuring that they’re of the highest quality when they go on sale. The same goes for all Fiat cars that we offer, with all of our expert team well-versed in the features of Fiat vehicles that you need to know about.

If there’s a specific feature that you need from your next new car, then get in touch with the David Hayton AutoStore team and they’ll be happy to advise you on the best vehicle for you. We’ve got a variety of finance options that can help to spread the cost, too.

What Does the Future Hold for Fiat?

There’s a lot in store for Fiat as 2026 rolls around. Much of the year will be focused on the arrival of the Grande Panda, as well as the roll-out of an updated 500 Hybrid model which uses a new 1.0-litre engine and manual transmission to help retain some of that ‘old-school’ charm, alongside the efficiency gains that electrification brings.

There will also be the new ‘GigaPanda’. Essentially, this will act as the largest vehicle that Fiat offers, sitting atop the firm’s range and utilising the same platform as the Citroen C5 Aircross. It’s expected to be offered in both five- and seven-seater configurations.

Then, there’s the Fastback, which is expected to fill the gap left by the Tipo. However, at this point Fiat is remaining tight-lipped about the Fastback, so we’ll have to wait and see what it looks like over the coming months.

But if you can’t wait any longer for the Fiat experience, then get in touch with the David Hayton AutoStore team to find out how they can get you into one of this Italian brand’s cars today.
