It’s already been a very busy year in the motoring world, and here at David Hayton, we’ve seen hundreds of fantastic cars pass through our doors and head out to new owners.
If you’re in the market for a new car, though, where do you start to look? Fortunately, we’ve picked out some of our very favourite used cars from 202,5 and the good news is they’re all available to buy here at David Hayton.
Peugeot e-208
The Peugeot e-208 is like a classic French hatchback, which happens to be electric. Small and easy to live with, the e-208 is great for urban drivers who might be short on space, or motorists looking for an easy runabout that won’t cost a lot to keep on the road. It’s packed with the latest technology, too, while the clever i-Cockpit system puts all of your major controls within easy reach.
You should get 215 miles from the 50kWh battery, too, meaning that this is one electric vehicle which isn’t afraid of longer journeys.
Audi Q3
The Audi Q3 is something of a ‘Goldilocks’ car within the German firm’s range. It’s spacious enough for taking five people out and about comfortably, but it’s not so large that it feels cumbersome to park. It’s packed with equipment, too, with cars like this one getting high-end Alcantara upholstery and Bluetooth connectivity, alongside a sweep of safety features.
The Q3 also feels robust to drive, while the solid materials used inside mean that this is one car which feels up to the task of family life.
Kia Sportage
The Kia Sportage is a car that can do it all. It’s comfortable, easy to drive and easy to access. The doors open nice and wide, so it’s simple to load car seats and out, while the boot has a low load lip, so you shouldn’t have to worry when putting heavier items into the rear of the car.
The Kia Sportage is a car which is packed with features, too, including parking sensors and satellite navigation. The Sportage also has a brilliant reliability record.
BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 Series is always high up our list of favourite cars, simply because of how it does so many jobs brilliantly well. Versions like this Touring - or estate-model bring a large boot, but because of the refinement that the 3 Series offers, you’ll find it a comfortable option over long distances.
The 318d diesel engine is also impressively frugal, but if you’re after a setup with a little extra oomph, then we have several 3 Series models to choose from.
Mazda3
Step into the Mazda3 and you’ll immediately know that you’re in something a little bit different. It’s a sporty experience from the very start, with the Mazda3’s design being centred around the driver. It’s a brilliant car to drive, too, with balanced handling that makes this very practical hatchback a lot more fun than you might expect.
Clever Skyactiv X on models like this one brings a clever combination of efficiency and performance, while standard features like heated seats and a heated steering wheel make the 3 a lot more comfortable in the colder months.
Porsche Macan
If you’re looking for something a little more upmarket, then the Porsche Macan is well worth putting on your list. It’s one of Porsche’s most popular models, sitting underneath the larger Cayenne in the range while still offering plenty of space and practicality.
Most importantly, you’re getting a high level of build quality throughout and a tremendous number of premium materials. The Macan drives more like a hot hatch, too, with pleasant steering and excellent responses regardless of which version you opt for.
Citroen C5 Aircross
The C5 Aircross is one of Citroen’s largest SUVs and packs a lot of features as a result. With its quirky styling, the Aircross is a car for those who want to stand out, with its chunky wheel arch extensions and standard-fit roof bars giving it the look of a model which is ready for adventure.
The Citroen C5 Aircross is great in terms of efficiency, too, while you’ll find handy features such as reversing cameras or Bluetooth connectivity included on nearly all models.
