Used SUVs at David Hayton AutoStore

Thu 26th Jun 2025

The SUV bodystyle has never been more popular than it is right now. Offering space, refinement and a confidence-inspiring driving position, it’s easy to see why the SUV has become such a hot topic.

Here at David Hayton, we’ve got a broad range of used SUVs to choose from, and in this article, we’re going to be checking out some of the very best.

Audi Q3

If you’re looking for an upmarket used SUV experience, then the Audi Q3 is a great place to start. It lies on the more compact end of the SUV spectrum, but this makes it easier to park and live with day-to-day than larger models. However, you’ll still find plenty of space inside alongside a handy 420-litre boot.

We’ve got plenty of Q3 examples to check out here at David Hayton, too, with this model incorporating a striking Utopia Blue exterior colour alongside features such as front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Ford Kuga

Ford’s popular Kuga brings all that you could want from a family-focused SUV. It’s spacious, has lots of storage inside and has been built with the kind of rugged materials that will ensure it’ll cope with the rigours of daily life. It’s good to drive, too, with a range of efficient engines.

Take this version, for example. It’s got a fuel-sipping mild-hybrid engine setup that’ll make it cheaper to run, and you still get great features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside an upgraded Bang and Olufsen sound system.

Volkswagen Tiguan

You might think that the Golf would be the most popular Volkswagen model but, in fact, that title belongs to the Tiguan. It’s been on sale for a long time now but, through its many generations, has always offered the flexibility and spaciousness that family buyers are looking for. It’s quiet and composed, too, which makes it great for long-distance journeys.

You’ll find that all Tiguan models come well equipped, too, with models like this one featuring a sport R-Line bodykit, cruise control, and a range of safety-boosting assistance systems.

Mercedes GLC

Mercedes has always brought a high-end feel to its SUVs, and you’ll find that in the GLC. Effectively, the brand’s mid-size SUV - falling between smaller GLB and larger GLE models - the GLC is often seen as a ‘goldilocks’ size for many drivers, offering that interior space you need but without being too large and unwieldy to drive.

It’s a polished place to be inside, too, with lots of high-end material used throughout. We’re big fans of the large central screen on this model, too, as well as the standard features such as heated seats and a handy multifunction steering wheel.

Nissan Qashqai

Nissan Qashqai really falls under the banner of ‘crossover’, but, given its space - not to mention its overwhelming popularity - we feel it deserves to be placed within this list. A common sight on the roads in the UK, the Qashqai has the kind of no-nonsense approach that drivers love, but it’s still got all of the features that you need inside.

Highlights include the LED headlights like the ones you’ll find on this example, while the large infotainment packs all of the features you could need, such as navigation and smartphone connectivity services.

Vauxhall Mokka

Vauxhall has quickly risen to become one of the most prominent names in the SUV market, and the Mokka is a good example of how this has happened. With its funky ‘Vizor’ front-end design, it looks far more exciting than Vauxhall models of old, but it’s still got that same great value-focused approach and efficient engine options.

We’re fond of this car’s White Jade exterior colour scheme with contrast black roof, while standard keyless entry opens the doors to an interior which is packed with features.

Cupra Formentor

Cupra has gone from strength to strength since it became a standalone brand from parent company Seat. The Formentor has been a big part of this, too, with this car’s coupe-inspired styling ensuring that it stands out from the crowd. Cars like this one get plenty of cool-looking copper-coloured elements, too, alongside a huge central screen which is packed with features including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

You’ll find the Formentor available with a good range of engines, too, and all have been engineered to deliver good levels of performance and efficiency.
